It's a damn shame, their Thursday and Sunday tournaments have more chips at a higher cost but all have the crazy blind structure. Any experienced player is going to avoid these things because of the clear lack of play value. Such a nice poker room, too bad that management has failed to deliver a good playing experience...

...which brings up my next point about their new $1 - $2 blinds No Limit Cash Game. If you are really desperate, you can play here and cough up a maximum EIGHT dollar rake. Yup, you've read that right. That's a full $2-$3 higher than even most charity games collect. They've also uppsed the cost to play $3-$6 limit hold'em to a $5 maximum rake. I'm assuming the've done the same to the $2-$4 limit game but I'm not sure. Wow, I guess they weren't making enough money already! Looks like there is little reason to head up North and play there as the charity game circuit in the Chicagoland area is now much more viable from a value point of view.
